12 June 2024: The Asia-Pacific Society for Cellular Agriculture (APAC-SCA), Gyeongbuk Technopark (GBTP) and Uiseong-Gun have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to align and strengthen the mutual goals all parties have in regard to developing international collaboration for the field of cellular agriculture.
The MoU aims to support the development of safe and transparent regulatory systems and frameworks in South Korea and beyond. All parties will work towards promoting global-level regulatory science technologies in food safety, efficacy, and quality. Activities will include assisting each party in regulatory know-how and up to date information in the region(s), and co-developing statements and papers to assist in regulatory developments.
